Now Accepting Nominations for the Upcoming Class of Distinguished Alumni

The Norwin Alumni & Friends Association (NAFA) is seeking nominations for the upcoming class of Distinguished Alumni Award to be presented at the Ninth Annual Knight of Distinguished Alumni Recognition Dinner. This honor is awarded on the following criteria:

• Graduated from a Norwin area public school in 2016 or earlier
• Evidence of post high school academic and/or career excellence
• Outstanding service to community (volunteerism) over a minimum of five years
• Exemplary character and evidence of efforts/accomplishments that distinguish themselves from other Norwin area graduates.

All Norwin community members are welcome to nominate no more than two (2) alumni who fulfill the criteria by completing the nomination form online at norwinalumni.org.

Nominees must be graduates from Irwin, North Huntingdon, or Norwin High School from 2016 or prior to be eligible. Once a graduate is nominated, representatives of the Norwin Alumni and Friends Association Board of Directors may reach out to the nominated alumnus for additional information in support of their nomination.

Those chosen by the committee will be honored at the upcoming Annual Knight of Distinguished Alumni Recognition Dinner at Stratigos Banquet Centre in North Huntingdon, Pennsylvania.
