A Bond Across Generations: A Message from NAFA's President

One of the things I have always appreciated about the Norwin community is the way people remain connected to it long after graduation.
As a retired Norwin teacher, I had the opportunity to watch students grow up, graduate and begin lives of their own. Years later, some returned as parents, teachers, coaches, volunteers or supporters of the schools they once attended.
That connection between generations is central to the Norwin Alumni & Friends Association.
Through scholarships, our Knight of Distinguished Alumni program and our efforts to preserve Norwin’s history, NAFA helps connect alumni whose experiences may be separated by decades but who still share part of the same story.
Our graduating scholarship recipients are just beginning to discover where life may take them. Many of the alumni we recognize have spent years building careers, serving their communities and contributing to the lives of others. Bringing those generations together is a reminder that graduation does not have to be the end of someone’s relationship with Norwin.
In this video, I share more about why that connection matters to me and how I hope NAFA can continue to strengthen it.
Once you graduate, Norwin becomes part of your history. Through NAFA, there is still a way to remain part of its future.
